In the research project, ENIGMA — Ecosystems and Networks Integrated with Genes and Molecular Assemblies — I am developing a predictive model for nitrous oxide emission from subsurface microbial communities in response to rainfall events. Specifically, I am building a reactive transport model of nitrogen species through PFLOTRAN, incorporating the emergence and evolution of microbial communities with omics data.
