Joan Damerow

Joan is an environmental scientist with a diverse background in environmental assessment, remediation, and geoscience sampling; biological monitoring; freshwater ecology; and informatics. She is the community engagement lead for the ESS-DIVE data repository for Earth and environmental sciences data. And is an expert in sample data management and interdisciplinary data. She leads the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) Physical Samples Curation Cluster, which provides a forum for the community supporting physical samples in the Earth, space, and environmental sciences.
